GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Asked if he knew when he scored his last goal, Jordan Nolan put his head down in the locker room. He laughed a little.I couldnt tell you, Nolan said. I dont even want to look back on it. Just kind of forget about it and just move on.Nolan scored his first two goals of the season -- and his first since April 2015 -- to help the Los Angeles Kings edge the Arizona Coyotes 4-3 on Wednesday night.Just some puck luck, I guess, Nolan said. I feel like I got some good chances here and just fortunate to go in.Trevor Lewis scored the winner off a turnover with 4:05 left. The Kings withstood a late power play and an extra attacker to hold on for their sixth win in seven games.Anze Kopitar had two assists and backup goalie Jeff Zatkoff, pressed into action to start the second period, faced 26 shots and made 25 saves.Martin Hanzal scored twice for the Coyotes in the first period, with Michael Stone assisting on both. Mike Smith stopped 29 shots, but gave up two goals in the final 7 minutes.I thought he was unlucky, Coyotes coach Dave Tippett said of Smith. Made some great saves but was unlucky. Im sure hes very frustrated, just like the rest of us.The Coyotes pulled Smith for an extra attacker for the last 1:34, but couldnt draw even. The teams scored 9 seconds apart in the third period. Nolans second goal of the night came from a shot from behind the net that bounced off the back of Smiths legs to give the Kings a 3-2 lead at 13:41 of the period.I see some of the top players kind of throw it at the net when theyre in the corner there, Nolan said. It goes in for them, so I thought why not give it a try?Arizonas Tobias Rieder, whod been a hard mark for Kings defenseman Drew Doughty for much of the game, took in a long pass from Alex Goligoski and got off a shot ahead of Doughty that beat Zatkoff at 13:50.That set the stage for Lewis winner. We did a good job kind of weathering their push in the second and tied it, Zatkoff said. It was a gritty win. We probably didnt play our best but its two points. Got contributions up and down the lineup. The Coyotes converted 2 of 6 power plays, the first successful power plays in the past five games. Nine of their last 10 games have been decided by one goal. The Kings went 0 for 6 on power plays.Forward Tyler Toffoli picked up two tripping penalties in the first 39 seconds of the game, the first which led to the Coyotes scoring their opening goal.Toffoli was sent to the penalty box nine seconds into the game, and six seconds later, Hanzal deflected Radim Vrbatas shot into the net for a 1-0 Arizona lead.Toffoli was whistled for tripping again at 39 seconds, but the Kings penalty kill unit prevented a second goal for those two minutes.Los Angeles tied it at 12:25 of the first when Dustin Brown skated up ice, flipped a centering pass to Kopitar and got the puck back from Kopitar. Browns shot attempt was wide but it went to teammate Dwight King, who put the puck past Smith. It was Kings fifth goal of the season. The Coyotes went ahead 2-1 on Hanzals wrist shot that went off starting goalie Peter Budajs stick and into the net at 18:32 of the period, again on the power play. Hanzal, with five goals, also has three two-point games this season. Before that goal, the Coyotes, with Smith making several stops, thwarted a 5-on-3 opportunity the Kings had for 53 seconds in the first period.Zatkoff got his first win as a King. He took over for Peter Budaj, who had four saves on six shots faced.Trying to win a game, right? Kings coach Darryl Sutter said of his move to go with Zatkoff. The Kings drew even again with Nolans goal at 10:14 of the second. Nolans backhand shot eluded Smith for his first goal of the season and first since April of 2015.Game notes Arizonas Oliver Ekman-Larsson played after leaving Tuesdays game at San Jose with an upper body injury, and logged an assist. ... Arizonas Shane Doan passed Wayne Gretzky for 19th place on the NHLs career list.UP NEXTKings: Open a three-game road at Montreal on Sunday.Coyotes: Host Columbus on Saturday, the first of back-to-back games against the Blue Jackets. Air Max 97 Homme Noir . The CFLs leading rusher kept adding to his gaudy numbers this season and scored the winning touchdown with just over two minutes to play. The New Westminster, B.C., native plowed three yards into the end zone for the last score of a heated, see-saw battle between the two teams with the best records in the CFL. The 31-year-old Spain midfielder hasnt played since Madrid lost in the Copa del Rey final to Atletico Madrid in May due to back and foot injuries. Air Max 97 Homme Pas Chere . Aduriz headed home Markel Susaetas cross in the sixth minute to open the scoring at San Mames Stadium. He bettered that with a long-range blast that went in off the goal frame in the 18th, and converted a penalty in the 72nd after Diego Mainz was sent off for fouling Aduriz with only the goalkeeper to beat. Nike Presto Femme Pas Cher . -- Ken Appleby made 32 saves for his first shutout of the season to lead the Oshawa Generals to a 2-0 win over the Belleville Bulls on Wednesday in Ontario Hockey League action. (STATS) -- Familiarity surrounds Saturdays opening-round playoff game between New Hampshire and Lehigh.Besides this being the teams fifth meeting in seven years, UNH is beginning the playoffs at home against the Patriot League champion for the fourth consecutive season.I figured thats probably where we would go as thats been the pattern lately, Lehigh coach Andy Coen said. Also just like last year, the winner will go on to play at James Madison. Thats a CAA Football rival for the 22nd-ranked Wildcats (7-4), but they know better than to look ahead.Their streak of 13 straight playoff appearances is the longest in the FCS. They reached the national semifinals in 2013 and 2014 -- those runs began with blowouts of Lafayette and Fordham, respectively -- before being stunned in the opening round last year by Colgate.Last year, we had the same situation, a Patriot League team coming to Durham, Wildcats leading rusher Dalton Crossan said. I think personally that we kind of wrote them off. Not like really we thought we were going to win 100 percent, but we were kind of looking towards JMU, thinking about going to JMU. We had already beaten (Colgate) earlier in the year.Us seniors are going to make sure that is not the mindset. While UNH is the perennial powerhouse from a conference which has four teams in the postseason, Lehigh (9-2) is the lone representative from an inferior league. That doesnt mean the little guy will be a pushover. In fact, the odds-makers made the Mountain Hawks a slight favorite.Theyre actually ranked higher in the STATS FCS Top 25 at No. 18, and deservedly so after closing the regular season with nine straight victories. Whereas Lehigh wrapped up the Patriot title a few weeks ago, the Wildcats had to wait with fingers crossed on Selection Sunday -- and their at-large hopes were nearly dashed a day earlier when they needed a late field goal to beat Maine.Weve been in some type of playoff mode probably since the middle of the season on, knowing that you win this one, you lose this one, you might not be going to the dance, New Hampshire coach Sean McDonnell said. While McDonnells team hasnt missed the playoffs since 2003, Lehigh is in the field for the first time since 2011.What scares you is you have a team with the tradition of New Hampshire, and they know what its like to play winning football at the FCS level in the playoffs, Coen said, and we wont have one player thats stepped fooot in the playoffs.dddddddddddd Thats a little scary for us, but I like our football team.Theres a lot to like about the offense.Nick Shafnisky took home Patriot offensive player of the year honors despite missing 2 1/2 games with an ankle injury. Hes rushed for 10 touchdowns and thrown for 20 in just nine games, surpassing 230 yards passing in seven of them. His two favorite targets are the Patriots two leading receivers, with Troy Pelletier and Gatlin Casey each having topped 1,000 yards while combining for 25 touchdowns. What makes the Mountain Hawks offense even scarier is that they became more balanced as the season wore on. Sophomore Dominick Bragalone, whom McDonnell called something special, rushed for 570 yards over the last four games while averaging 8.4 per carry.Offensively, its great to see the air show. Shaf, Gat and Troy are just killing it, said All-Patriot placekicker Ed Mish. And then Dom running people over and being able to get some long scores. Its been really exciting.Bragalone hopes to tear up the New Hampshire defense just as CAA rushing leader Elijah Ibitokun-Hanks did two weeks ago, gaining 298 yards in Albanys 36-25 upset win at Wildcat Stadium. That game and a 42-39 loss to James Madison on Oct. 15 were the only blemishes in conference play for UNH, but theyre also proof of vulnerability for a defense which has generally been the teams strength. In fact, the most yards the Wildcats have allowed came to a Patriot team -- 498 in a 39-28 win over Holy Cross on Sept. 10. On that same day, Lehigh nearly upset CAA power Villanova on the road, losing 26-21 on a late touchdown.Furthering the idea that UNH wont take the opponent lightly is the memory of last years shocking 27-20 playoff loss to Colgate. We know what (the Patriot League) can do, they beat us last year in the playoffs, McDonnell said. Believe me, everybodys antennas are on high here in Durham. The Wildcats lead the all-time series 12-3, including a 45-27 win in 2014 as they shut down an inexperienced Shafnisky. This Lehigh team, though, is much more talented. Plus, Coen has surely mentioned to his players how the Mountain Hawks upset UNH not so long ago -- 34-27 in 2013 in Durham.Things change over time, Coen said, but we have an idea of what they like to do and how they like to do it.
