Sussex have confirmed the appointment of Rob Andrew, the former England rugby union player, as their new chief executive. The 53-year-old, who played first-class cricket while at Cambridge University, will replace the outgoing Zac Toumazi and assume his new role in January. Andrew spent 10 years working at the RFU in a series of different roles, including as professional rugby director, but left at the end of last season.
